Hello Kiwanians and fellow community members!
After two years of forced sequestration and one year of hesitant emergence, I am pleased to announce that the Montgomery Village Kiwanis Club has finally secured a new home to hold our bi-monthly meetings!
We will be meeting at the Gaithersburg Public Library located at 18330 Montgomery Village Ave,Gaithersburg, MD 20879. We meet on the first and third Tuesday of each month.
The meeting room is on the second floor and is designated as Medium Room 3. Meetings start at 6:00pm and conclude at 7:00pm. Here we will hatch our plans to continue to serve Montgomery Village and the immediate surrounding areas in providing help and services to the children and young adults of our community.
Kiwanis’ mission is to empower communities to improve the world by making lasting differences in the lives of children. Kiwanis will be a positive influence in communities worldwide — so that one day, all children will wake up in communities that believe in them, nurture them and provide the support they need to thrive. As a club we strive to support our Signature Project “The Tree House Child Advocacy Center of Montgomery County, MD” through fund raising and community outreach. We also support “Women Who Care Ministries” also located in Montgomery County and with Montgomery Village. We welcome everyone to come and visit and see how you can contribute to a vibrant and active group.
Best wishes to all,
Robert Ripson
President Montgomery Village Kiwanis Club
